How often do you find yourself trying to convince people to do something important (like support your mission)? It can be incredibly frustrating when you encounter resistance or rejection, despite the consequences of your ask. What if you could hear "yes" a lot more often? You can, by embracing a counterintuitive approach to persuasion: prioritizing the needs of the people you wish to persuade. In this talk, David will share a new framework and practical skills for getting more "yesses" in response to your most critical requests.

David Wagner founded Clear Mission Consulting with the conviction that the right combination of strategy and leadership could help mission-driven organizations change the world for good. His belief is rooted in over 15 years of experience helping dozens of groups to amplify their mission impact through effective strategic planning and execution, including 10+ years of first-hand leadership experience. David’s specialty is combining facilitated planning with hands-on coaching to help leaders put their strategies into action. He emphasizes people-first approaches that foster commitment and creating lasting mission impact.
